Channel Rules
Please...
Channel Rules
While you are on any of our channels we assume your acceptance of these terms.
- Read the Network Rules (/rules) and Channel Rules (See below)
Keep offensive topics in #animesuki.h(deleted 10-07-07, schadowfox)- Chat in English
- Have fun
- Try not to spoil
Spoilers can really ruin the fun of a show, please try to avoid spoiling. Manga and RAW content is always considered a spoiler, otherwise just ask whether it is OK to discuss a certain topic. That way people can /ignore or /part if they don't want to see it.
Channel Rules
- Do not private message (PM) the Operators (OPs) without permission
If you have a question, ask it openly in the channel.
- Do not run file servers (FServs)
If you run an FServ please turn it off while on #animesuki.
- Do not use file server triggers (!list, @find, xdcc list, etc.)
We don't allow file servers so these triggers are useless to you and annoying to the rest of us.
- Do not ask for or point to downloads of banned material
This includes licensed anime, OSTs, warez, etc. What is considered "banned" is often up to the discretion of the active OPs, if you are unsure just ask one of them.
- Do not use annoying scripts
This includes "now playing" scripts, anything that conflicts with scripts operated by our bots and public away scripts (use a normal IRC /away; that is what it is for). If you are unsure ask an available operator.
- Do not "spam"
This includes unauthorized advertising (web sites, channels, services, etc.) and causing the channel to "flood" (pasting ascii art, repeated messages, repeated join-parts, repeated nick changes, etc.)
- Do not use Auto-rejoin
You were kicked from the channel for a reason; read why, accept it and then join the channel again.
- Do not ask when an episode is coming out
We do not know so asking is pointless; just be patient.
- Do not behave in a disruptive fashion
The channel is supposed to be fun, disruptive people ruin it for everyone. Disruptive behaviour includes tricking people into breaking the rules, abusing the bots, repeatedly insulting other people, trying to ignite flamewars, excessive swearing, etc.
While you are on any of our channels we assume your acceptance of these terms.
